How to Set Up an Oversize Load
- Front banner on the bumper or grille, readable by oncoming traffic.
- Rear banner on the back of the load or trailer, as high as practical.
- Flags at each corner of the widest point, plus any rear projection: one flag if it is 2 feet wide or less, two if wider.
- Check your permit for lights at night, pilot vehicles and travel times in every state on your route.
